Join Swansea Fair Trade Forum to celebrate this year's Fairtrade Fortnight! During the two weeks campaign, Swansea Fair Trade Forum and its members are putting on a range of local events. All events are FREE and with such a wide variety, there will be something for everyone!
Mon 27th February – Fairtrade Coffee Morning at Oxfam Kick off Fairtrade Fortnight with a visit to the Oxfam shop on Union Street in Swansea for a FREE cup of Fairtrade coffee or tea. 10am–12.30pm. For details, call Clare on 01792 654287.
Mon 27th February – Traidcraft Stand at Killay Library Find out more about fair trade and try FREE samples at Killay Library from 10am–1.30pm. For more information, call Sheila on is 01792 520732.
Wed 1st March – Fairtrade Cake Break at Environment Centre Head to the Environment Centre’s Exchange Café between 10am and 4pm for your St.David’s Day coffee break, with freshly made cakes on sale created with Fairtrade ingredients (only available while stock lasts!) alongside a selection of Fairtrade teas and coffees. Info about fair trade and the Swansea Fair Trade Forum will also be on display.
Wed 1st March – ‘Bananas and Bards’ Fair Trade Walk Meet at the Oxfam Shop in Castle Street, Swansea at 11am for the first walk in an International Festival of Fair Trade Walks with a literary theme. Join a group of human-size Fair Trade bananas walking around Swansea city centre, handing out fair trade samples and poetry books to shoppers and passers by. For more info call Phil on 01792 654710.
Wed 8th March – Traidcraft Stall at St. Mary’s Church, Clydach Pick up some Fairtrade goodies after the morning communion service. Everyone welcome. Stall open 11.15–11.45am. For more information, call Pam on 01792 845942.

Sun 12th March – ‘Creating an Equal Future’ Event at Waterfront Museum Celebrate International Women’s Day and Fairtrade Fortnight with this family fun event at the National Waterfront Museum from 11am to 3pm. There will be a range of diverse range of speakers, performers, workshop and stalls including Fairtrade stalls, FREE samples and the notorious Unfair Funfair games with a hidden fair trade twist!
