        27th February to 11th March
        There are some great events taking place in Swansea. Click HERE for our programme of events.
        Two of the bigger events:
        Fri 2nd March – One Fair Day Fashion Show
        Models will be showing off a range of fair trade clothing and accessories, set to an imaginative backdrop of graffiti art, with a live DJ and rap soundtrack. There will also be opportunity to sample and buy a range of fair trade goodies. The event takes place at the National Waterfront Museum, Oystermouth Road, Swansea, starting at 6pm. Tickets are £5.50 for adults and £3.50 for children. A cup of fair trade tea or coffee is included. Proceeds to the Joshua Foundation. For more information, call 07919 626629. 

        Fri 9th March – Fairtrade Evening at Tapestri
        Enjoy a fair trade celebration buffet with Fairtrade ingredients, wine, juice, tea and coffee, and a rare opportunity to meet a Fairtrade banana producer. This special event, supported by Co-operative Membership, will take place from 7pm in the Tapestri Café Bar on Orchard Street, Swansea. Tickets are £5 each and must be booked in advance and paid for by 23rd Feb.         FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT EVENTS 2011
        Sun 27th February: Unplugged Music and Fair Trade Wine Night Kick off Fairtrade Fortnight with this music night and fair trade wine tasting at the Red Cafe, Mumbles. 
        Mon 28th February: Oxfam Coffee Morning Call in for a cup of fair trade tea or coffee at the Oxfam shop, Union Street. 
        Thurs 3rd to Thurs 10th March: Fair Trade Stalls at Local Libraries Find out more about fair trade or buy fair trade products at: Townhill Library, Sketty Library, Pontardulais Library, Oystermouth Library, Gorseinon Library 
        Fri 4th March: Big Brew Coffee Morning Drop in for a fair trade cuppa and browse the Fairtrade stall at Forge Fach Resource Centre, Clydach. 
        Fri 4th March: Fair Trade Tasting at Tapestri Arts Café Bar Your chance to visit this new social enterprise in Gwalia’s stylish Llys Glas development (the Old Police Station). Producer link-up to India, stalls and entertainment. 
        Sat 5th March: Transition Swansea Ceilidh with Rough Edge From 8pm until late at the Garage Music Venue, Uplands. 
        Tue 8th March: Women's Day Fairtrade Coffee Morning Call in for a cup of fair trade tea or coffee at the Oxfam books, film and music shop, Castle Street, Swansea. 
        Tue 8th March: Palestinian Fairtrade Olive Oil Producers Visit Come along and find out more about the ups and downs of producing olive oil to fairtrade standards and what this means to their local communities. At Mozart’s Uplands. 
        Thu 10th March: Quiz Night and Fairtrade Film A challenging, but fun pub-style general knowledge quiz in the Environment Centre,Pier Street, Swansea. 
        Sat 12th March: Walk the Fairtrade Way Walk along Swansea's first Fairtrade Way, from the Oxfam Bookshop in Castle Street, along the seafront to Red Cafe in Mumbles.

        Sat 21st August: Fairtrade Fashion Shoot Exhibition An exhibition by Trevor Leighton, who marked Fairtrade Cotton's fifth anniversary through the production of a special collection showing off the best of Fairtrade Cotton range.
