Fairtrade Fortnight 2025 took place
Monday 22nd September to Sunday 5th October.
This year's theme was "BREW IT FAIR".

Mon 22nd Sep – Oxfam Shop Fairtrade Coffee Morning
10am-12.30pm, Oxfam Shop, 34 Castle Street, Swansea SA1 1HZ
Kick off Fairtrade Fortnight in Swansea with a free cup of coffee or tea at the Oxfam shop. Drop in to try some samples of Fairtrade chocolate and discover more about Fairtrade.


Tue 23rd Sep – Oxfam Fairtrade Fortnight Quiz Evening
7pm, Oxfam Shop, 34 Castle Street, Swansea SA1 1HZ
Join Oxfam volunteers and members of Swansea Fair Trade Forum for a fun evening with FT refreshments. Test your knowledge of books, film and music (with a Fairtrade twist) and compete for an FT winners’ prize. Free event, no booking required.

Thu 25th Sep – ‘Brew it Fair’ Tea and Cakes Afternoon
2-4pm, The Environment Centre, Pier Street, SA1 1RY
Join members of Swansea Fair Trade Forum to mark this year’s FT Fortnight with a cuppa and cake. FT raffle prize. Drop-in event, everyone welcome.

Sat 27th Sep – Fairtrade Fortnight parkrun Clydach
8.30-11.00am, Coed Gwilym Park, Pontardawe Road, Clydach, Swansea SA6 5NS
This free, fun and friendly 5k weekly community event takes on the Fairtrade theme with stands, activities and free bananas. Supported by Co-op and Swansea Fair Trade Forum. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!

Fri 3rd Oct – Capel y Nant Fairtrade Coffee Morning
10.30am, Heol-Y-Nant, Clydach, Swansea SA6 5HB
Pop in to enjoy a Fairtrade coffee or tea, and a chat. Free event, no booking required.

Sat 4th Oct – Fairtrade Fun Palace at Oxfam Shop
10am-1pm, Oxfam Shop, 34 Castle Street, Swansea SA1 1HZ
Get creative and learn about the impact that Fairtrade can make in communities around the world. Coffee staining campaigning! Banana costume wearing! Tea leaf collages! And more!! Free drop-in, open to everybody.
During Fairtrade Fortnight, Swansea Fair Trade Forum will be presenting certificates to a number of local groups, organisations and businesses in recognition of their commitment to Fairtrade.
There will other awareness raising activities too such as an information stand in Clydach Library and Swansea University will be promoting Fairtrade to students and staff at their Keep Cup promotions.
