Founded in September 2002, the Swansea Fair Trade Forum (formerly Swansea Fairtrade City Initiative) is a network of local groups, businesses and individuals committed to the principles of Fair Trade.

The Forum is the main source of information and activity relating to Fair Trade in Swansea and achieved Fairtrade City Status for the City and County of Swansea in December 2004 (awarded by the Fairtrade Foundation).
Activities and Resources
We have organised events, stalls, talks, workshops and activities and support other groups who want to run their own events or start their own Fair Trade groups. We also produced the Swansea Fairtrade directory of Fairtrade retailers in Swansea. This is available on our website HERE
The Forum maintains a store of general leaflets, exhibition boards and materials for displays, exhibitions and events. The group generally meets once every 2 months and are also involved with Fair Trade Wales. If you would like to get involved in the group, help out at our events and activities or just need some advice, please get in touch.
