Fun and Tasty Way to Mark Fairtrade Fortnight
Local ethical business, Pop Cycle, is celebrating Fairtrade Fortnight with a special Choc Banana Pop. Fairtrade ingredients include fairtrade banana, cocoa and vanilla (and organic coconut milk and agave syrup). These ice lollies are available at Cwmdonkin Park Kiosk, while stocks last. The pops are plant based and packs suitable for garden compost. George, the Pop Cycle's creator, says "Fairtrade is an easy way for us to support farmers at the front end of climate change. The produce is top quality and helps farmers improve their living and working conditions". Other pops available with Fairtrade ingredients include: Rhubarb Ripple - British Rhubarb with Fairtrade sugar and vanilla, Purple Rain, British blueberries and Fairtrade vanilla, and Lemonade, with Fairtrade sugar. |
